Pinellas County has scheduled an additional 4 shelters for activation. We now have 10 shelters scheduled for activation starting tomorrow morning, Wednesday 25 September, at 0700.

The following shelters are now scheduled for activation:

• Palm Harbor University – Manned
• Largo High School – Manned
• Gibbs High School – Manned
• Lealman Innovation Center – Manned
• Campbell Park – Help Needed
• Clearwater Fundamental – Manned
• Carwise – Help Needed
• Palm Harbor Middle School – Manned

The Pinellas County CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Net meets the first and third Thursday of each month at 2000 local time on the W4ACS Repeater System.

The net then moves to the CERT south county simplex frequency of 146.580. We hope to expand as the net grows to central and north county frequencies.

All Amateurs are well to check-in to the net.

A Shelter Go-Kit check-list has been posted to the Shelter training section of the web site.

The membership took part in a workshop that was used to define Pinellas ACS Communicator Positions and the performance criteria a trainee must meet to be certified for each position. The material used to facilitate this discussion has now been posted.
