Standardized Training Plans

The Three Standardized Training Plans listed below were used to develop the Pinellas County ACS training program.

ARES® Standardized Training Plan

The ARES® Standardized Training Plan was written and published by the ARRL® and is the foundation training plan for ARES®. It defines the minimum recommended proficiencies and skill that members should obtain.

Florida ARRL® Tri-Section ARES® Standardized Training Plan

The Florida ARRL® Tri-Section ARES® Standardized Training Plan was jointly written and published by the Northern, West Central, and Southern Florida ARES® Sections of the ARRL® and is applicable to all Florida ARES® members. It builds upon the proficiencies and skills defined in the ARES® Standardized Training Plan and tailors them to the Florida Region.

CISA Position Task Book (PTB) for Auxiliary Communicator (AUXC)

The CISA PTB for the AUXC position is written and published by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and defines the minimum competencies, behaviors, and tasks that an individual must master to be certified for the position of Auxiliary Communicator.
